The Teaching in Marine Science Lab at the University of Georgia is collection of motivated people with one shared passion: education.
 
Dr. Austin Heil leads a team that is broadly interested in science education, using local marine organisms and emerging issues facing our coastlines as a lens for our teaching. Specifically, we focus on science teaching and learning in various settings (inside/outside the classroom, laboratory and field, aquarium) and for various audiences (college, K-12 students, teachers, general public).
